<p>A training device comprising a ball launcher 1, means to feed balls to the launcher 1 and a collection arrangement 2-4 including sloped surfaces 2 which act to return balls which have been launched to the ball feeding means. The device is arranged to provide uninterrupted practice and may be used for tennis, cricket or baseball practice. Also disclosed is a computer 11 with software which allows a sequence of deliveries to be pre programmed with specific line, length and speed characteristics. A further disclosure of a training device with a camera tracking and calibration system 12 is also provided. The camera system 12 may provide feedback on both the characteristics of the delivery and its trajectory after it has been hit and may provide predictive trajectories.</p> |
