The brake has a closing-sided brake lining (8) movable in a direction parallel to a brake disk rotational axis and a brake disk frictional surface. An actuation device includes a brake cylinder subjected with compressed air or an electromagnetic actuator as a brake force producer that acts on a closing device (10) for closing the lining. A self-reinforcing device is provided with a self-reinforcing die (27) that is arranged parallel to an actuating die (22). The actuating and self-reinforcing dies are supported at a rotary brake lever (11).
