摘要 PURPOSE: A dual bipolar magnetic field for a linear high-voltage contactor in lithium-ion battery system for a vehicle is provided to reduce Lorentz force by forming the dual bipolar magnetic field to be adjacent to a contactor portion of a switching mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A switching assembly comprises a solenoid, a contact plate, a contact plate(134), multiple conductive terminals, and multiple magnets. The solenoid comprises a coil and a plunger. The terminals are connected to the solenoid and the contact plate. When power is supplied to the solenoid, the terminals control the contact plate so that the plunger can touch the terminals. The magnets apply Lorentz force to the contact plate.
