A pneumatic tire with good fuel efficiency, drainage performance and uneven wear resistance is provided. A pneumatic tire has a tread surface provided with circumferential main grooves (2a,2b) to define a center region (3) and two side regions (4a,4b). The center region is provided with a first circumferential narrow groove (6) and second circumferential narrow grooves (7a,7b) located between the first circumferential narrow groove (6) and the circumferential main grooves (2a,2b); and center rib-like land portions (11) including first center rib-like land portions (9a,9b) defined by the first circumferential narrow groove (6) and the second circumferential narrow grooves (7a,7b), and second center rib-like land portions (10a,10b) defined by the second circumferential narrow grooves (7a,7b) and the circumferential main grooves (2a,2b). The center rib-like land portions (11) located next to each other with the center circumferential narrow grooves (8) being therebetween are adapted to supportingly contact with each other. The second circumferential narrow groove has a width larger than that of the first circumferential narrow groove. |
