<p>The device has a sensor for measuring hemodynamic parameters of cardiac cycle for delivering temporal parameter representing ventricular filling time. An adjusting unit adjusts vagal stimulation energy, where the adjusting unit is operated dynamically in a repeated manner on cardiac cycles. Varying units vary the level of stimulation energy, during cardiac cycle. The varying units evaluate correlative variations of filling times. An establishing unit provides the stimulation energy at adjusted level maximizing the filling times. The sensor is chosen from endocardial acceleration sensor, endocavitary or epicardial acceleration sensor, wall movement sensor, intracardial pressure sensor, intracardial bioimpedance sensor, oxygen saturation sensor and volume variation measurement sensor.</p> |
