<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle device for preventing generation of settlement errors which may be generated due to the difference in card information used in a settlement start point (for example, entrance tollbooth) and a settlement end point (for example, exit tollbooth). <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle passes an entrance tollbooth (settlement processing is started), a settlement processing start flag installed in the storage part of an in-vehicle device is turned ON (S140). Then, while the pertinent flag is turned ON, the storage part of the in-vehicle device will not be made to store any card information for other in-vehicle devices. Thus, if the storage part of the in-vehicle device is not made to store the card information for other in-vehicle devices during the continuation of settlement, the card information for other in-vehicle device can be prevented from being used in the middle of settlement processing. Hence, it is possible to preliminarily prevent the vehicle from being used at the exit tollbooth, since the card information for other in-vehicle devices is used in the middle of a series of settlement processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
