The conveyor i.e. conveyor fabric belt (10), has warp threads, weft threads, an inside running side (12) and an outside carrying side (11) for receiving of a tobacco product. Cams (14) are arranged on the inside running side. The cams are brought in engagement with cam receptacles (22) of a cam wheel (20). The cams are arranged in parallel on the inside running side in a single row or multiple rows. A pyrolysis conformable coating is provided on the outside carrying side and formed from polyester or polyolefine or polypropylene. The cams and the wheel are made from polyester. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a conveyor. |
