The cutting- and scoring device (10) has two round scoring tool halves (12,14) and a cutting unit (16) arranged between the two scoring tool halves. The cutting unit is movable between a rest position radially inside between the scoring tool halves and an operating position radially outside the scoring tool halves. The two scoring tool halves have diameters of different sizes. An independent claim is also included for a method for cutting and scoring work pieces.
