SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING CUT OFF OF USER SCREEN CAUSED OF SAME CHANNEL IN DIGITAL BROADCASTING

PURPOSE: A picture disconnection preventing device in the same channel in a digital broadcast and a method thereof are provided to perform encoding in advance as much as encoding delay time of a broadcast program when the broadcast program is changed in the same channel. CONSTITUTION: A broadcast managing unit(180) finds a next broadcast program and encoder(140~160) for encoding the next broadcast program by schedule information of the broadcast program in the same channel. The broadcast managing unit transfers an encoding command to the encoder in advance as much as encoding delay time of the encoder. The broadcast managing unit converts previously encoded broadcast content into a TS(Transport Stream).
