METHOD OF CONTROLLING TERMINAL DEVICE AND POINTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a terminal device and a pointing device are provided to prevent time delay for calculating complex operation by calculating coordinate information using direction detection sensor signal. CONSTITUTION: A direction sensor(130) including electrodes(134) which are radially arranged is placed in a pointing area. A directing detecting function is performed by using coordinate information which is obtained by the signal from the directing sensor coping with the movement of a target object. Direction electrodes are placed on the button of the same plate. The direction electrodes are round shape, oval shape, or a polygon shape.
