<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing unit and an image forming device capable of sealing an opening part of a developing unit by a sealing member, capable of preventing a developer from leaking from the developing unit, and capable of attaching and detaching easily the sealing member. <P>SOLUTION: The developing unit/image forming device includes: a casing attached detachably with a developer storage unit; a developer supply port provided in a position opposed to a developer discharge port corresponding to a shape of the developer discharge port, when mounting the developer storage unit onto the casing, and for supplying the developer discharged via the developer discharge port, to the casing; and a seal member arranged in the periphery of the developer supply port, and comprising an elastomer compressible by a pressing force imparted in accompaniment to the mounting of the developer storage unit onto the casing; and a sealing member constituted of a cap member for covering a face provided with the developer supply port of the casing and a locking member for locking the cap member to the casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
