Improved string of bags and method for manufacturing such a string

The string (1) has longitudinal suspension strips (4) secured at level of upper edge (22) of one of walls of bags (2) and comprising discontinuities (5) at all or portion of connecting zones (31). The discontinuities extend over a portion of height of beads, and are weak zones facilitating folding of the string at the level of connecting zones. The discontinuities are selected from a group comprising notch without removal of material of the strips, slot with removal of material of suspension strips or local thinning by removal of material of the suspension strips. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a string for bags.
