OPTICAL PICK-UP

PURPOSE: An optical pickup is provided to reduce interference between layers in a multi-layered disc. CONSTITUTION: A PDIC(Photo Detector Integrated Circuit) comprises a main detecting unit, a first sub detecting unit, and a second sub detecting unit. The main detecting unit receives beams which pass through a grating wherein the beams are from beams reflected from an optical storage medium. The first sub detecting unit receives beams which are diffracted by a first area. The second sub detecting unit receives beams which are diffracted by a second area.
