The present invention relates to an electric connector including a protective member which protects an electric contact portion and which moves to the electric connector and opens the electric contact portion when the electric connector is connected to a target connector portion, it is an object to provide the electric connector in which the electric contact portions are aligned in a moving direction of the protective member and which can be reduced in size in the moving direction. An electric connector portion includes first and second electric contact portions (64a, 64b) which are connectable to first and second target electric contact portions (59a, 59b), respectively, and a protective member (66) which is movable from a protecting position where the first and second electric contact portions (64a, 64b) are protected to an opening position where the first and second electric contact portions (64a, 64b) are opened in a moving direction extending from the first electric contact portion (64a) side to the second electric contact portion (64b) side, wherein the protective member (66) includes an opening portion (71a) which is configured to open the second electric contact portion (64b) when the protective member (66) is arranged at the opening position.
