Classes 120(1) and 120(3) A revolving flat carding machine has fan blades e within the main cylinder a, a filter within the cylinder and air pervious ends so that the fan blades draw air through the cylinder and cause it to pass through the filter to improve atmospheric conditions in the card-room. The filter may be at the inlet end of the cylinder and the fan blades at the outlet end, or there may be filters at both ends with fan blades intermediately. The blades may be of moulded rubber or sheet metal. |
