<p>The invention relates to a device (20) for tensioning continuously recirculating conveyors, particularly chains, flat belts, timing belts, or V-belts, having: a tensioning screw (30); a bearing (32) for a tensioning pulley (22), wherein the bearing (32) can be rigidly coupled to the tensioning screw (32); a nut (40); a lock nut (42); a spring element (44) seated on the screw (30) between the nut (40) and the lock nut (42); and a stop ring (46) seated on the screw (30) between the nut (40) and the lock nut (42), wherein the stop ring (46) comprises an inner diameter (47) suitable for completely receiving the spring element (44) within the stop ring (46), and wherein a width (B) of the stop ring (46) is selected such that the spring element (44), when completely received in the stop ring (46), is compressed with a force corresponding to a desired tensioning force of the conveyor (12).</p> |
