PURPOSE: A display device is provided to integrate fluorescent objects of quantum, thereby obtaining a high color rendering index and a high reliability index. CONSTITUTION: A light source(30) includes a sub mount substrate(31), a light emitting chip(33), and a color converting layer(34). The light emitting chip is mounted on the sub mount substrate. The color converting layer is located on an upper side of the sub mount substrate while the color converting layer surrounds the light emitting chip. The color converting layer includes a quantum dot layer. The quantum dot layer is separated from the light emitting chip. |
