PURPOSE: A paper sheet processing apparatus is provided to improve convenience by easily detach a stacker. CONSTITUTION: A paper sheet reception mechanism provides and takes a paper sheet. A count processing unit(10) counts the paper sheet. A stacker(20) receives the paper sheet. Carrying paths(10a-10d) carries the paper sheet to the paper sheet reception mechanism, the count processing unit, and the stacker. A connection guide(51) is installed between the carrying paths and the stacker and provides and takes the paper sheet. A motor, a cam, and a solenoid changes the connection guide into a connection state and retreat state while being attached to the carrying path and the stacker.
