<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of forming a powerful and attractive image of a moving object by rendering the image of the moving object, and a program and an information storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A display model deformation processing section 114 in the image forming game system performs processing for deforming the form of a display model of an object based on at least one of the advancing direction of the object moving relative to a virtual camera and the position and direction of the virtual camera to the object. The form of the display model may be deformed by dynamically changing the form of the display model or may be deformed by selecting an optimum deformation model out of a plurality of deformation models prepared beforehand.
