<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of stably holding its upright position even if the bottle deforms due to the rise of its inner pressure or expansion of its contents. <P>SOLUTION: The bottom has a first ground contact section 7 located on the outside edge in the axial direction, a second ground contact section 15 located further inside than the first ground contact section 7 in the axial direction, and an easily deformable section 18 connecting the first and second ground contact sections 7 and 15. The easily deformable section 18 deforms when inner pressure rises to or beyond a predetermined value or the contents expand to or beyond a predetermined volume. The second ground contact section 15 projects further outside from the first grounding section 7 in the axial direction.
