PURPOSE: An apparatus for washing a porous filter and a method for washing the porous filter are provided to safely keep the quality of a filter and to prevent the damage of the filter. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for washing a porous filter includes a fluid storing tank(10), a heating unit(20), and a washing unit(30). Fluid stored in the fluid storing tank becomes in a subcritical state or a supercritical state by the heating unit. The washing unit washes the filter by using fluid in the subcritical state or the supercritical state. The heating unit includes a heating part(21) and a heat insulating material(22). The heating part heats the fluid. The heat insulating material surrounds the external side of the heating part. The washing unit includes a fixed part(31) and a heat insulating material(32). The filter is fixed at the fixed part. The heat insulating part surrounds the fixed part. The fluid is one of water, carbon dioxide, acetone, and co-solvents containing water.
