PURPOSE: A polypropylene resin composition for extrusion foaming and a foaming body manufactured by using the same are provided to have high molten strength, thereby facilitating cell density control of the foaming body. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene resin composition for extrusion foaming includes 5-40 wt% of a foaming agent based on 100 wt% of propylene random copolymer including 0.1-10 wt% of ethylene. The melt index of the polypropylene resin composition is 0.1-10 g/10 minutes, and the distribution of molecular weight is 6 or greater. The molten strength of the polypropylene resin composition is 50mN or greater. The foaming agent is one or more of butane, propane, and carbon dioxide. The polypropylene resin composition additionally includes 0.01-5.0 wt% of a foam nucleating agent. The foam nucleating agent is one or more of talc, barium stearate, calcium stearate, silica, sodium bicarbonate, and potassium bicarbonate.
