PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a copolyester resin is provided to minimize the used amount of expensive 1,4-butanediol, manufacturing copolyester with excellent elastic recovery. CONSTITUTION: Copolyester with elastic recovery is manufactured from a diacide component and a diol component. The diacid component is dimethyl terephthalate and dimethyl isophthalate, or terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid. The diol component is ethylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol, and polytetramethyleneglycol. The molar ratio of the used amount of the diacid component, and the diol component is 0.9-1.1: 0.9-1.1. The diol component is manufactured from the ethylene glycol, the 1,4-butanediol, and the polytetramethyleneglycol with molar ratio of 0.7-0.9 : 0.05-0.15 : 0.05-0.15.
