PURPOSE: Equipment for connecting a column to a beam is provided to secure the ductility capacity, which satisfies performance criteria of special moment frames. CONSTITUTION: Equipment for connecting a column to a beam comprises a first joint member(110), a second joint member(120), and an auxiliary joint member(130). The first joint member connects a first flange(22) of the beam(20) to the column(10). The second joint member connects a second flange(24) of the beam to the column. The second joint member is used as a damper, which absorbs external force. The auxiliary joint member is connected to the second flange of the beam, and contacts with at least one surface of the second joint member.
