FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and oil-and-gas industry, particularly, to separation of heterogeneous liquid mixes. Proposed method comprises using the device made up of tight cylindrical shell with covers, initial emulsion feed branch pipe and emulsion components separate discharge branch pipe, and filtration unit arranged inside said shell and including filtration coalescent layer. Filtration unit consists of rectangular frame with its outer edges secured to cylindrical shell inner surface and that of covers. Housing includes outer support structure to arrange the former so that deviation of filtering material layers from vertical is not smaller than angle of separated fluid outflow. ^ EFFECT: simplified design and servicing, lower costs. ^ 10 cl, 3 dwg |
