SKIN-PATCH MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A patch formulation containing a support layer and a drug layer and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maintain drug release rate and to ensure air permeability. CONSTITUTION: A patch formulation for attaching to the skin contains a support layer and a drug layer applied on one side or both sides of the support layer. The support layer contains porous non-woven fabric fabricated by electrospinning thermoplastic polyurethane ultra fine fiber aggregate. The average diameter of the ultra fine fiber is 0.1-10 um. The thickness of the non-woven fabric is 100-200 um. A method for fabricating the patch formulation comprises: a step of prepare thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) spinning polymer materials; a step of electrospinning the spinning polymer materials to prepare porous ultrafine fiber web; a step of calendaring the ultra fine fiber web to prepare porous ultra fine fiber non-woven fabric; and a step of applying a drug on one side or both sides of the non-woven fabric.
