PURPOSE: A multilayer transparent electrode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain a transparent electrode with high transmissivity and conductivity at low costs by using titanium and copper. CONSTITUTION: A multilayer transparent electrode(10) comprises a first titanium oxide layer(11) formed on a substrate, a copper layer(12) formed on the first titanium oxide layer, and a second titanium oxide layer(13) formed on the copper layer. The first titanium oxide layer and the second titanium oxide layer are composed of titanium oxide doped with a metal material and have an anatase crystalline structure.
