PURPOSE: A method for communicating with a terminal of an automatic vending machine is provided to perform a function for selling fundamental products with a compact control part locating in an automatic vending machine. CONSTITUTION: An automatic vending machine control part(10) transmits an insert amount information message to a terminal(S41). The terminal indicates deposit amount according to the insert amount information message and coverts to a sales mode(S43). If the automatic vending machine control part transmits a poll message(POLL) to the terminal to request the change of information, the terminal returns a sales request information message to the automatic vending machine control part(S48). After performing a sales operation and a sales completion, the automatic vending machine control part performs a sales standby for next products if a sales completion informing message is transmitted to the terminal. If the automatic vending machine control part transmits the poll message to the terminal, the terminal returns a no-change message to the automatic vending machine control part in case of having no change according to receiving of the poll message(S54).
