PURPOSE: A virtual vehicle sound output device and a control method thereof are provided to actively cope with changes of external environments. CONSTITUTION: A sound source playing unit(500) plays a sound source from sound source data according to a play control signal of a control unit. A sound output unit(600) outputs the sound source according to an output control signal of the control unit. A sound collecting unit(800) collects an external environment sound according to a collection control signal of the control unit. A signal processing analyzing unit(700) analyzes the external environment sound and signal processing of the signal source outputted from the sound output unit. The signal processing analyzing unit transmits the analyzed information to the control unit.
