PURPOSE: A food waste treating apparatus sis provided to reduce energy consumption required for incinerating food waste while food waste is converted into solid fuel energy. CONSTITUTION: A food treating apparatus including a mill and a food waste treating part(100). The mill is positioned in a drying furnace(110). The food waste treating part is positioned in the drying furnace. The food waste treating part includes a pellet forming panel(130) with a plurality of opening parts. The food waste treating part further includes a discharging opening and closing part(140). The discharging opening and closing part selectively opens and closes the drying furnace. The food waste treating part further includes a discharging container. The discharging container contains the pellet forming panel. The food waste treating apparatus further includes a pellet collecting part(300) in connection with the discharging container.
