PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a flat display panel is provided to reduce damage of first and second substrates during a bonding process. CONSTITUTION: A bonding substrate(20) has a plurality of unit cells. A sealing member(3) is formed in the bonding substrate. The bonding substrate is etched to make the first and second substrates to have set thicknesses respectively. The bonding substrate is cut to eliminate the sealing member which is located on at least one side of the bonding substrate. A plurality of inter-layers(23) are formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The inter-layers are divided by sealing members(24) respectively.
