The present invention relates to a chitosan derivative having a visible-light-curing characteristic whereby it is cured by visible-light irradiation, and to a use for the same as a medical raw material. The chitosan derivative of the present invention has a visible-light-curing characteristic whereby curing is initiated by visible-light irradiation. The chitosan derivative of the present invention suppresses the attachment of cells and hence can be used effectively as an adhesion-preventing agent, and it exhibits an effect in promoting wound healing even without a wound-healing drug and so could also be developed as a wound-healing-promoting agent. Also, the chitosan derivative of the present invention is advantageous in that it entails low production costs, is not toxic when used in the body and the degree to which it is cured can be adjusted by means of the intensity and the duration of visible-light irradiation and hence it may be used on very diverse forms of body surface, and it can be expelled by being broken down naturally within the body.
|
