SEED CHUCK UNIT AND APPARATUS FOR GROWING INGOT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A seed chuck unit and an ingot growing apparatus using the same are provided to improve the quality of an ingot by preventing the rotation of a seed chuck main body to be biased when the ingot grows. CONSTITUTION: A chamber comprises a crucible accepting a silicon solution. The chamber comprises a crucible housing regularly supporting the crucible. A crucible rotation means rotates the crucible with the crucible housing. A wire(200) is included on the top of the chamber. A tightening ball is fixed to the end of the wire. A seed chuck unit(300) is supported by the tightening ball. The top end of the seed chuck unit is connected with the wire. A seed is dipped in the silicon solution and makes an ingot grow up. The seed is combined with the bottom end of the seed chuck unit.
