PURPOSE: Portable parallel bars and an assembling method thereof are provided to facilitate the assembling and disassembling thereof. CONSTITUTION: Portable parallel bars comprise a handle unit(10), a base unit(20), a support unit(30), a first angular pipe, and a second angular pipe. The handle unit is a pair of main frames. The support unit comprises a main unit and a hollow coupling unit. One end of a pair of the support units is connected to the handle unit and the other end thereof is connected to the base unit. The first angular pipe is coupled with one side end of the base of the main frame and connects a pair of the main frames. The second angular pipe connects a pair of the main frames.
