PURPOSE: A water treating method and an electromagnetical pulse system for a water treating apparatus are provided to increase the efficiency of water treating facilities by reducing the corrosion and the scale of the facilities. CONSTITUTION: A water treating method includes the following: high frequency signals are generated; and the high frequency signals are discontinuously applied to flowing water. The voltages of the high frequency signals are in a range between 5 and 200 bolts. The high frequency signals of 1,000 to 1,000,000 Hz are discontinuously applied to the flowing water 5 to 200 times per second. An electromagnetical pulse system(100) for a water treating apparatus includes a reactor(102) and a high frequency generating unit(104). A hollow part is formed in the reactor such that water flows in the reactor. The reactor is surrounded by a coil.
