FIELD: power industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: natural gas flow cooling method involves combined cooling of hydrocarbon flow and the first cooling agent flow with evaporating cooling agent, which is performed in one or larger number of in-series arranged common heat exchangers; at that, the above heat exchangers include the first common heat exchanger, and the above hydrocarbon flow and the first cooling agent flow upstream of the first common heat exchanger are not cooled together. The first cooling agent flow is compressed, cooled with ambient medium to the cooling agent temperature; the cooled hydrocarbon flow is obtained at initial temperature which is less than cooling agent temperature; hydrocarbon flow is supplied to the first common heat exchanger at hydrocarbon supply temperature which is less than cooling agent temperature; in addition, the first cooling agent flow temperature is decreased after cooling by means of heat exchange with the cooled hydrocarbon flow upstream of hydrocarbon flow supplied to the first common heat exchanger; the first cooling agent flow is supplied to the first common heat exchanger at cooling agent supply temperature which is less than cooling agent temperature; hydrocarbon flow and the first cooling agent flow are cooled together with evaporating cooling agent in one or more in-series arranged common heat exchangers. ^ EFFECT: use of the invention will allow improving thermal efficiency during cooling or liquefaction of natural gas supplied at low temperatures. ^ 24 cl, 4 dwg, 2 tbl |
