PURPOSE: A power management method of a hybrid electric vehicle using a battery and a super-capacitor is provided to improve power distribution algorithm by controlling distribution and the time and amount of supply/cut-off of power. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid electric vehicle comprises a battery device and a super-capacitor for providing power to a driving motor. The available power of the super-capacitor is confirmed. The power transmitted from the super-capacitor to the driving motor is controlled according to the available power of the super-capacitor. Power of the super-capacitor is delivered to the driving motor according to the operating angle of a gas pedal. |
