In the game device, a mobile character which has arrived at a region whose distance from an intersection is equal to or less than a first reference distance is caused to move in parallel with a direction from the intersection towards another intersection, and a mobile character which has arrived at a region whose distance from the intersection is equal to or less than a second reference distance is caused to move toward a movement target position.
