PURPOSE: A resin composition for a black matrix is provided to improve the quality of the black matrix without an exposing process and a developing process by implementing roll printing-based operational processes. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for a black matrix includes 10 to 60 weight% of a pigment dispersed solution, 1 to 50 weight% of a curable binder resin, 1 to 30 weight% of a multi-functional monomer with ethylenically unsaturated double bond, 0.4 to 10 weight% of surfactant, and 10 to 60 weight% of a solvent. The pigment dispersed solution is based on 5 to 50 weight% of a black pigment, 1 to 10 weight% of an acryl-based or cardo-based binder, 1 to 5 weight% of a dispersing agent, and 40 to 80 weight% of a solvent. The curable binder resin is the copolymer of a monomer with an acid functional group and a monomer copolymerizable with the preceding monomer, or a polymer compound based on polymerization of the preceding copolymer with an ethylenically unsaturated compound with an epoxy group. |
