PURPOSE: A sensor using polarized light, a sensor chip, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to quickly detect a target material without complex system. CONSTITUTION: A sensor chip(102) comprises: a substrate; a thin film layer formed on the substrate; a first organic molecule conjugated to the thin film layer; and a nanoparticle-second organic molecule conjugate. One of the first and second organic materials is a capture material binding with the target material. The first organic molecule is conjugated on the substrate in a wire grid pattern. The first and second organic molecules are a single-stranded DNA. The substrate is a transparent substrate penetrating incident light.
