INDUCTIVE TORQUE AND ANGLE SENSOR FOR STEERING

PURPOSE: An inductance type torque and angle sensor for a steering column is provided to simplify the structure by operating a torque sensor function and an angle sensor function at the same time and sense the torque and rotation angle of a steering column through gear ratio by using a transmission gear. CONSTITUTION: An inductance type torque and angle sensor for a steering column comprises a driving gear, a transmission gear(40), and a pair of driven gears(50). The driving gear is installed to be rotated with steering columns(2, 4). The transmission gear is rotated by being coupled with the driving gear and transfers torque. The pair of driven gears is rotated by being meshed with the transmission gear and the rotation speed of driven gears is decreased lower than that of the driving gear through a transmission gear. Couplers(60) are installed in the pair of driven gears.
