DYESTUFF EXTRACTED FROM NATURAL INDIGO AND METHOD THEREOF AND DYEING METHOD

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of natural dye using polygonum indigo is provided to provide natural dye capable of being easily managed and stored because of powder shape thereof, and capable of easily storing dyeing components in polygonum indigo for long term without changes. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of natural dye using polygonum indigo comprises: a step(s100) of manufacturing polygonum indigo powder for dyeing by using polygonum indigo and lime; and a step of manufacturing natural dye by controlling pH to 11-12 by using soda ash or sodium hydroxide. A dyeing method using the natural dye uses the natural dye with the pH of 11-12 obtained through the manufacturing method, and hydrosulfite as a reducing agent.
