PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling the number of sheets in a crane are provided to prevent the malfunction of a control function caused by an unstable system due to vibration or unstable power by installing the apparatus for controlling the number of sheets in a crane on the ground. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling the number of sheets in a crane comprises a communication unit(331), an information memory unit(332), a display unit(333), an user manipulation unit(334), and a control unit(335). The communication unit receives information on target objects that a crane tries to move. The information memory unit saves magnet control information on the crane corresponding to the information on the target objects. The display unit outputs control set values included in the magnet control information. The user manipulation unit amends the control set values included in the magnet control information. If the number of the target objects that the crane tries to move is inputted, the control unit calculates the control set values for magnet control of the crane based on the magnet control information and transmits the calculated control set values to the crane. |
