摘要 PURPOSE: A system and a method for classifying damages of tires by detecting the periodicity of ultrasonic signals generated in the tires is provided to classify and confirm the existence of tire damage materials in driving, thereby preventing accidents caused by the tire damage materials in advance. CONSTITUTION: A system for classifying damages of tires by detecting the periodicity of ultrasonic signals generated in the tires comprises an ultrasonic sensor and a control unit. The ultrasonic sensor obtains ultrasonic signals generated in between tires and a road surface in driving. The control unit detects the existence of the periodicity of the ultrasonic signals. If the ultrasonic signals have the periodicity, the tires include tire damage materials.
