The invention relates to car-building and can be used at manufacture of cars for rail transportation of fertilizers, raw materials for their producing, as well as other bulk cargoes. A versatile railway hopper car consists of a servicing module containing two two-axle bogies, an automatic coupler module, a module of brake equipment, a frame module, a module of handling equipment, a body module. The body module has a removable roof, which is mounted by means of bolted connections and is equipped with a vacuum valve, two vertical side walls have a casing and a framework, which includes upper framing and vertical racks, and two inclined end walls containing a casing and a frame in the form of upper framing. The side and end walls have a casing of two-layer steel, whose inner surface is corrosion resistant. The upper framing of side and end walls and vertical supports of side walls are made of a square tube. Technical result: versatility of a railway hopper car, reduction of complexity at its manufacture, maintenance and unloading, reduction of its material content and increase of carrying capacity while ensuring the conditions for stability and reliability. |
