A SWITCHING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INPUT UNIT

PURPOSE: A switching apparatus for input units and a method for the same are provided to prevent the unintentional input of a user through input units by including an input switch applied for a computer. CONSTITUTION: A first input unit(1) generates input signals. A second input unit(2) includes a switch interface(21). A timer(3) sets a pre-determined time period and calculates a counting time. When a controlling unit(4) receives the input signals, the controlling unit turns off the switch interface and activates the timer in order to start the counting time. The calculated counting time is compared with the pre-determined time period. The switch interface is activated according to the result of the comparison.
