PURPOSE: A covered electric wire and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent damage to the body of a user by covering the electric wire with an environmentally-friendly material which discharges harmless smell. CONSTITUTION: A covered electric wire is covered with an insulation material having a silicon base, a hardener, paints, and perfume. A manufacturing method of the covered electric wire is as follows. The silicon base is measured(S1). Filler is mixed with the measured silicon base(S2). Perfume is mixed with the mixed silicon base(S3). A hardener and paints are mixed with the mixed silicon base(S4). The electric wire is covered with the silicon base mixture(S5).
