PURPOSE: A steel band connecting device is provided to save time and efforts required for installing a band to a band dispenser and a packing robot in case of replacing a band roll. CONSTITUTION: A steel band connecting device comprises a band supplying part(200), a band dispenser(300), a packing robot(350), and a band junction part(400). The band dispenser draws out a band from a band roll. The packing robot winds the band drawn out by the band dispenser to a target packing coil to pack. The band junction part is installed between the band supplying part and the band dispenser to interconnect the tail end of the band drawn out by the band dispenser and the leading end of the band drawn out from the replaced band roll.
