METHOD OF ADDITIONAL THRUST MODELING AND METHOD OF PERFORMANCE VARIFICATION USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An additional thrust modeling method and a method for inspecting performance of an auxiliary bottom plate using the same are provided to determine performance of an auxiliary bottom plate in all the booster conditions by using injection test results testing in limited booster conditions. CONSTITUTION: An additional thrust modeling method is as follows. The mass and maximum sectional area of a flying object, the area of a booster nozzle, and the inclination angle of a launching tube are measured. The pressure of a booster chamber and the acceleration of the flying object are measured according to the movement distance of the flying object in the launching tube through an injection test of the flying object. The total thrust coefficient according to the movement distance of the flying object in the launching tube is calculated by using the mass, maximum sectional area, and acceleration of the flying object, and the pressure of the booster chamber, and the inclination angle of the launching tube.
