PURPOSE: A device for drying moisture of a runner cover in a furnace is provided to prevent only a portion of a runner cover being directly heated, thereby preventing damage to a refractory body of the runner cover caused by directly heating with a pre-heater in advance. CONSTITUTION: A device for drying moisture of a runner cover in a furnace comprises a heat carrying apparatus(100), a pre-heater(200), a moisture meter(300), and a control unit(400). The heat carrying apparatus is arranged to be faced to a refractory body(510) of a runner cover of the furnace. The pre-heater heats the refractory body with the heat carrying apparatus as a medium. The moisture meter is installed at a predetermined position, thereby sensing moisture. The control unit controls the pre-heater according to the sensed moisture of the refractory body. |
